South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Morristown Yellow Jackets (Morristown, IN), 11-6 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Columbus Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 6. South Decatur will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 22-6 league loss to Dugger Union (Dugger, IN). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Morristown falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Herron (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Achaeans in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 6. The Achaeans enter the challenge with a record of 3-10. Herron won 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Sheridan (Sheridan, IN)
