Ohio High School Softball - Wickliffe gets by South
May 5, 2022: Willoughby, OH 44094 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH) and the host South Rebels (Willoughby, OH), witnessed Wickliffe's softball squad tip South by a count of 18-17.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kirtland for a Chagrin Valley - Valley match on Monday, May 9. Wickliffe will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Geneva (Geneva, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 7-9.
The Rebels (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Madison (Madison, OH). The Blue Streaks enter the Western Reserve outing with a 3-15 record. In their last outing, Madison was tipped by North (Eastlake, OH), 20-0, in a league outing.
