Illinois High School Baseball - Riverdale gets by Erie-Prophetstown
May 5, 2023: Port Byron, IL 61275 Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL), 4-1 in a league test.
With the win, Riverdale upgrades its record to 6-14 on the season. The Rams travel to Alleman (Rock Island, IL) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 10. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 3-13.
With the defeat, Erie-Prophetstown falls to 2-18 on the season. The Panthers host Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL) to battle the Rockets in a Three Rivers test on Monday, May 8. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 5-17. Rockridge lost 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Mendota (Mendota, IL)
