Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Pottsgrove Falcons (Pottsgrove, PA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Upper Merion Area upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Vikings host Pottstown (Pottstown, PA) to battle the Trojans in a Pioneer test on Monday, May 8. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 2-16. Pottstown lost 15-0 in their recent league test against Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA)

With the defeat, Pottsgrove falls to 5-12 on the season. The Falcons travel to Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA) to battle the Phantoms in a Pioneer test on Monday, May 8. The Phantoms come into the test with a record of 11-6. Phoenixville won 2-0 in their recent league test against Boyertown (Boyertown, PA)
