May 5, 2023: Wichita, KS 67212 Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles (Wichita, KS) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Maize Eagles (Maize, KS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles confront the Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS) in a Greater Wichita challenge, on Tuesday, May 9. Bishop Carroll will attempt to better on its 13-1 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS).
The Eagles now have a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Maize South for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Maize will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Mavericks record now stands at 14-0.
