In Monday's league challenge, the host Shelton Gaels volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Cheshire Rams.

The Gaels (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record.

Next, the Rams meet the Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 7. Cheshire will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
