Illinois High School Softball - De La Salle held off by Aurora Central Catholic

In Monday's league test, the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL) softball squad got by the visiting De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), by a tally of 4-3.

Next, the Chargers clash with the IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL) in a GCAC-White test, on Tuesday, May 6. Aurora Central Catholic will attempt to advance on its 19-7 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 14-9 record after their 18-0 league win over Trinity (River Forest, IL).

The Meteors (19-7) will now prepare for their test against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Hinsdale South held off Leyden (Franklin Park, IL), 7-4, in a league test.
