Michigan High School Softball - Rudyard bounces Newberry
May 5, 2025: Newberry, MI 49868 In Monday's league match, the visiting Rudyard Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 20-5 win over the Newberry Indians.
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Manistique (Manistique, MI). The Emeralds come into the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Manistique was routed by Superior Central (Eben Junction, MI), 11-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Indians confront the St. Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI) in a Straits Area match, on Wednesday, May 7. Newberry will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Saints come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Cedarville (Cedarville, MI).
