Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA), 12-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Hughson upgrades its record to 16-1 on the year.

The Wildcats now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Summerville for a non-league game on Wednesday, May 6. Sonora will play a Bears squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA). The Bears record now stands at 14-9.
