In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Topsail Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-6 triumph over the South Brunswick Cougars.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 7. South Brunswick will attempt to better on its 7-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to North Brunswick (Leland, NC).
