The Foothill Cougars softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Shasta Wolves to 3 in the Cougars league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Valley for a Eastern Athletic battle on Friday, May 8. Foothill will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Chico (Chico, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 15-9.

With the loss, Shasta moves to 4-13 on the season. The Wolves travel to Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA) to confront the Spartans in a Eastern Athletic battle on Wednesday, May 6. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 13-9. Red Bluff won 16-5 in their recent league battle against Enterprise (Redding, CA)
