Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA), 5-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Windber improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Ramblers host Shade (Cairnbrook, PA) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 6. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 9-2. Shade won 9-6 in their recent league game against Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA)

The Cougars now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Meyersdale for a Inter County - West game on Thursday, May 7. North Star will play a Red Raiders squad coming off a 13-4 league win over Rockwood (Rockwood, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 8-5.
