Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA) and the host Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), saw Quincy's baseball squad knock off Portola by a count of 13-5.

The Tigers now possess a 14-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Biggs for a Mid-Valley battle on Monday, May 9. Portola will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-15.
