In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Warde Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Danbury Hatters.

The Mustangs (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Westhill nudged St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Hatters clash with the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a Fairfield County battle, on Monday, May 9. Danbury will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Wreckers come into the battle with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT).
