Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) followers went home happy Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT), 3-1 in a league game.

The Wreckers now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a Fairfield County game on Wednesday, May 11. Staples will meet a Cadets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Cadets record now stands at 5-10.

The Hatters (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Vikings enter the Fairfield County game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, Westhill defeated Warde (Fairfield, CT), 3-1, in a non-league game.
