In Friday's non-league test, the host St. Mary's Lancers lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-6 victory over the Gow Ravens.

The Lancers now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a Monsignor Martin test on Tuesday, May 10. St. Mary's will face a Tigers squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to St. Francis (Hamburg, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-9.
