Kansas High School Softball - Colby bounces Ulysses
May 6, 2022: Colby, KS 67701 Colby Eagles (Colby, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Ulysses Tigers (Ulysses, KS), 15-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holcomb for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Colby will battle a Longhorns squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Goodland (Goodland, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Ulysses falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 6-11. Southwestern Heights lost 24-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Holcomb (Holcomb, KS)
