The Mount Desert Island Trojans baseball team (Mount Desert, ME), was overwhelmed 12-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME)

The Witches now hold a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oxford Hills for a Class A North outing on Monday, May 8. Brewer will confront a Vikings team coming off a 11-4 league loss to Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.

Next, the Trojans confront the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) in a Class B North outing, on Monday, May 8. Mount Desert Island will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Ponies go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 9-5 league loss to Hermon (Hermon, ME).
