May 6, 2023: Millbury, OH 43447 Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rossford Bulldogs (Rossford, OH), 10-7 in a league challenge.
The Flyers now hold a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Genoa Area for a Northern Buckeye game on Monday, May 8. Lake will clash with a Comets team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Clay (Oregon, OH). The Comets record now stands at 10-8.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Fostoria Redmen (Fostoria, OH) in a Northern Buckeye game, on Monday, May 8. Rossford will attempt to move on its 3-14 season record.
