Illinois High School Softball - Auburn can't get by Olympia
May 6, 2024: Auburn, IL 62615 The Olympia Spartans softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Auburn Trojans to 2 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Olympia moves its record to 24-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to play the Ironmen in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 8. The Ironmen come into the game with a record of 11-18. Normal Community won 16-1 in their recent league game against Peoria (Peoria, IL)
In their next game, the Trojans play the Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL) in a Sangamo game, on Tuesday, May 7. Auburn will attempt to move on its 20-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 19-11 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Glenwood (Chatham, IL).
