Ohio High School Softball - Claymont gets by Buckeye Trail
May 6, 2024: Uhrichsville, OH 44683 The Claymont Mustangs got by the visiting Buckeye Trail Warriors softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Mustangs (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Edison (Richmond, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Edison was edged by Canfield (Canfield, OH), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now sport a 6-18 record. They play next when they travel to Malvern for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 8. Buckeye Trail will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Conotton Valley (Bowerston, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 4-14.
