May 6, 2024: New Rochelle, NY 10801 The New Rochelle Huguenots routed the visiting Mount Vernon Knights softball squad by a final score of 14-2 in Monday's league battle.
The Huguenots (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Somers (Lincolndale, NY). The Tuskers go into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Somers notched a victory over Brewster (Brewster, NY), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Knights now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they host New Rochelle for a Section 1 I - B battle on Thursday, May 9. Mount Vernon will confront a Huguenots squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Somers (Lincolndale, NY). The Huguenots record now stands at 8-10.
