Indiana High School Baseball - River Forest defeats Calumet New Tech
May 6, 2025: Hobart, IN 46342 The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) and the visiting Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN), saw River Forest's baseball team gain a win over Calumet New Tech by a tally of 7-0.
The Ingots (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hammond Central (Hammond, IN). The Wolves enter the non-league battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Hammond Central was overwhelmed by Hobart (Hobart, IN), 14-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors face the South Bend Washington Panthers (South Bend, IN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 8. Calumet New Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-10 record after their 19-2 league loss to South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN).
