In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Chautauqua Lake Eagles softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the Southwestern Trojans.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Falconer (Falconer, NY). The Golden Falcons come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Falconer nipped Southwestern (Jamestown, NY), 15-7, in a league match.

In their next game, the Trojans confront the Clymer Central Pirates (Clymer, NY) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, May 7. Southwestern will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
