Washington High School Softball - Anacortes bounces Blaine
May 6, 2025: Anacortes, WA 98221 The Anacortes Seahawks softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Blaine Borderites to 2 in the Seahawks league win on Tuesday.
The Seahawks now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orcas Island for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. Anacortes will confront a Vikings team coming off a 28-24 non-league loss to South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-13.
With the loss, Blaine moves to 4-11 on the season. The Borderites host Sehome (Bellingham, WA) to confront the Mariners in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Thursday, May 8. The Mariners come into the battle with a record of 4-13. Sehome lost 17-1 in their recent league battle against Lynden (Lynden, WA)
