New York High School Softball - Mott Haven topped by Washington
May 6, 2025: New York, NY 10040 Washington Trojans (New York, NY) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Mott Haven Mavericks (Bronx, NY), 15-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Washington improves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Trojans travel to Lynbrook (Lynbrook, NY) to play the Owls in a Section 8 ABC-5 game on Wednesday, May 7. The Owls enter the game with a record of 12-5. Lynbrook lost 15-2 in their recent league game against Long Beach (Long Beach, NY)
The Mavericks now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to KIPP NYC College Prep for a non-league game on Thursday, May 8.
