Virginia High School Softball - Petersburg topped by Prince George
May 6, 2025: Prince George, VA 23875 Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA), 15-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, Prince George upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Royals travel to Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 7. The Cavaliers enter the game with a record of 9-4. Clover Hill won 18-2 in their recent league game against Richmond High School for the Arts (Richmond, VA)
The Crimson Wave now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Matoaca for a Central game on Thursday, May 8. Petersburg will play a Warriors squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-3.
