The Frontier Cougars the visiting Federal Hocking Lancers softball squad by a count of 4-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Caldwell Redskins (Caldwell, OH) in a Ohio Valley Athletic AA challenge, on Monday, May 11. Frontier will attempt to upgrade on its 11-14 season record. The Redskins enter the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 17-4 league win over Shadyside (Shadyside, OH).

The Lancers (3-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Marietta (Marietta, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, Marietta by River (Hannibal, OH), 12-2, in a league challenge.
