Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA), 19-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Taconic upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Braves travel to Southwick-Tolland (Southwick, MA) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, May 7. The Rams go into the match with a record of 11-2. Southwick-Tolland won 11-6 in their recent non-league match against South Hadley (South Hadley, MA)

The Golden Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Holyoke (Holyoke, MA). The Purple Knights go into the non-league match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Holyoke ran past Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA), 18-16, in a league match.
