Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Elkhorn South upgrades its record to 18-8 on the season. The Storm travel to Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, May 13. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 23-3. Lincoln East won 6-1 in their recent league test against Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE)

With the defeat, Grand Island falls to 10-11 on the season.
