May 7, 2022: Chicago Heights, IL 60411 In Saturday's league contest, the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), by a margin of 13-2.
With the triumph, Kankakee moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Kays travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL) to play the Boilermakers in a non-league contest on Monday, May 9. The Boilermakers come into the contest with a record of 12-8.
In their next game, the Blazing Trojan play the Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL) in a SICA - South contest, on Saturday, May 7. Bloom will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record.
