May 7, 2024: Springfield, MO 65807 Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Camdenton Lakers (Camdenton, MO), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Kickapoo upgrades its record to 11-16 on the season. The Chiefs host Branson (Branson, MO) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Thursday, May 9. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 20-8.
With the defeat, Camdenton falls to 11-19 on the season. The Lakers travel to Rolla (Rolla, MO) to battle the Bulldogs in a Class 5 District 5 test on Wednesday, May 8. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 11-10. Rolla won 11-7 in their recent league test against Capital City (Jefferson City, MO)
