In Tuesday's league contest, the Williams Field Black Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) volleyball squad edged the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Black Hawks battle the American Leadership Academy Patriots (Queen Creek, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 9. Williams Field will attempt to better on its 38-1 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 23-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cienega (Vail, AZ).

With the loss, Higley drops to 19-16 on the campaign.
