Virginia High School Soccer - Lord Botetourt knocks off Fleming
May 7, 2024: Roanoke, VA 24017 Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), 10-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers confront the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a Blue Ridge challenge, on Wednesday, May 8. Lord Botetourt will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Terriers enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA).
The Colonels now have a 0-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin County for a Blue Ridge challenge on Friday, May 10. Fleming will confront a Eagles team coming off a 1-1 non-league Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
