May 7, 2024: Eagle River, WI 54521 Northland Pines Eagles (Eagle River, WI) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Medford Raiders (Medford, WI), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles face the Antigo Red Robins (Antigo, WI) in a Great Northern challenge, on Thursday, May 9. Northland Pines will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Red Robins enter the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 8-0 league loss to Lakeland (Minocqua, WI).
The Raiders now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rhinelander for a Great Northern challenge on Thursday, May 9. Medford will face a Hodags team coming off a 7-0 league win over Mosinee (Mosinee, WI). The Hodags record now stands at 8-1.
