May 7, 2024: Kinston, AL 36453 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Leroy Bears (Leroy, AL) and the host Kinston Bulldogs (Kinston, AL), saw Leroy's softball squad nip Kinston by a count of 7-1.
The Bears now sport a 22-14 record. They take the field next when they host Brantley for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 8. Leroy will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 19-2 non-league win over Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-14.
With the loss, Kinston falls to 27-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Fruitdale (Fruitdale, AL) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 8. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 16-14.
