Michigan High School Softball - Walled Lake Northern bounces Milford
May 7, 2024: Highland, MI 48357 Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI), 8-4 in a league challenge.
The Knights now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walled Lake Central for a Lakes Valley challenge on Friday, May 10. Walled Lake Northern will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Milford falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Kettering (Waterford, MI) to battle the Captains in a Lakes Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Captains enter the challenge with a record of 0-10.
