Indiana High School Baseball - Barr-Reeve defeats Linton-Stockton
May 7, 2025: Linton, IN 47441 The Barr-Reeve Vikings baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Linton-Stockton Miners to 0 in the Vikings non-league win on Wednesday.
The Vikings now own a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jasper for a non-league test on Friday, May 9. Barr-Reeve will play a Wildcats team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Castle (Newburgh, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-6.
With the defeat, Linton-Stockton drops to 5-9 on the year. The Miners travel to Shakamak (Jasonville, IN) to play the Lakers in a Southwestern Indiana test on Saturday, May 10. The Lakers go into the test with a record of 5-6. Shakamak lost 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN)
