The Glass Hilltoppers baseball squad (Lynchburg, VA), was overwhelmed 10-6 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Salem Spartans (Salem, VA)

With the triumph, Salem moves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA) to confront the Titans in a River Ridge contest on Friday, May 9. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 8-5. Hidden Valley won 5-4 in their recent league contest against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA)

The Hilltoppers now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson Forest for a Seminole contest on Friday, May 9. Glass will confront a Cavaliers squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 17-0.
