The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) and the visiting St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV), saw South Charleston's baseball team gain a win over St. Joseph Central by a tally of 5-0.

The Black Eagles (10-15) will now prepare for their battle against Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Bison enter the non-league battle with a 14-11 record. In their last battle, Buffalo held off Wayne (Wayne, WV), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
