South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sherman Tide (Seth, WV), 6-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, South Charleston advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Black Eagles host Huntington (Huntington, WV) to battle the Highlanders in a Mountain State match on Friday, March 21. The Highlanders come into the match with a record of 0-1. Huntington lost 10-5 in their recent non-league match against Greenup County (Greenup, KY)

The Tide now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hannan for a Freelance match on Friday, March 21. Sherman will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Teays Valley Christian (Scott Depot, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
