The Monticello Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 24 points and limited the host Charlottesville Black Knights to 11 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Albemarle for a Jefferson challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Monticello will play a Patriots team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-7.

The Black Knights now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albemarle for a Jefferson game on Friday, May 16.
