The Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) lacrosse nudged the host Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Whirlies now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Guilford for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 8. Grimsley will face a Vikings squad coming off a 18-7 league win over Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Southeast Guilford falls to 14-4 on the year.
