Delaware High School Lacrosse - Smyrna drops to Sussex Academy
May 7, 2025: Smyrna, DE 19977 Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE), 19-4 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Sussex Academy advances its record to 10-4 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE) to encounter the Auks in a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. The Auks come into the battle with a record of 9-4. Archmere Academy won 11-6 in their recent non-league battle against Caravel Academy (Bear, DE)
The Eagles now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cape Henlopen for a Henlopen North battle on Friday, May 9.
