Delaware High School Lacrosse - Smyrna drops to Cape Henlopen
May 9, 2025: Lewes, DE 19958 The Cape Henlopen Vikings trounced the visiting Smyrna Eagles lacrosse squad by a score of 18-5 in Friday's league challenge.
The Vikings now hold a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caesar Rodney for a Henlopen North challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Cape Henlopen will clash with a Riders squad coming off a 20-5 non-league win over Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Riders record now stands at 13-0.
With the loss, Smyrna falls to 8-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE) to confront the Seahawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 13. The Seahawks come into the match with a record of 8-6. Delaware Military Academy won 13-5 in their recent non-league match against Dover (Dover, DE)
