The Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) baseball trounced the host Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), 19-9 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. Liberty Christian will clash with a Minutemen team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-11.

With the defeat, Franklin County drops to 8-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to William Byrd (Vinton, VA) to clash with the Terriers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8.
