In Wednesday's league bout, the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), by a tally of 12-2.

Next up, the Vikings encounter the South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 8. Valparaiso will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Satellites enter the bout with a 4-6 record after their 18-4 non-league loss to Kouts (Kouts, IN).

The Wolves (1-10) will now prepare for their bout against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Kougars enter the non-league bout with a 10-6 record. In their last bout, Kankakee Valley overcame Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
