Virginia High School Lacrosse - Monticello drops to Fluvanna County
May 7, 2025: Palmyra, VA 22963 Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 10-5 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Fluvanna County advances its record to 9-0 on the season. The Flying Flucos travel to Orange County (Orange, VA) to play the Fighting Hornets in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 13. The Fighting Hornets come into the game with a record of 1-9. Orange County lost 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA)
The Mustangs now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Charlottesville for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Monticello will encounter a Black Knights team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Orange County (Orange, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-6.
