Virginia High School Softball - Broadway bounces Wilson Memorial
May 7, 2025: Broadway, VA 22815 The Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) softball routed the visiting Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA), 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Gobblers now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Turner Ashby for a non-league outing on Friday, May 9. Broadway will encounter a Knights team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Knights record now stands at 15-1.
With the loss, Wilson Memorial moves to 4-9 on the season. The Green hornets travel to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to encounter the Bison in a non-league outing on Friday, May 9. The Bison come into the outing with a record of 16-0. Buffalo Gap won 16-5 in their recent non-league outing against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA)
