Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) and the visiting Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH), witnessed Hoover's lacrosse squad top Jackson by a count of 17-1.

The Vikings (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH). The Red Raiders enter the Region 2 contest with a 12-2 record.

Next, the Polar Bears meet the Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 13. Jackson will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record.
